Solis MMC workforce consists of the following positions:

RESIDENTIAL SUPPORT WORKER (Full-Time and Casual Relief)

Starting Salary €31,000 plus relevant additional payments.

The role of the Residential Support Worker (RSW) will entail working within a residential care setting and providing the highest quality of care to young people. The RSW will be required to develop therapeutic relationships with young people, based on respect, individuality and objectivity. They will be required to contribute to an assessment of needs and implement a placement plan, focused on addressing assessed needs. They will engage in planned social, educational and leisure activities with young people and, through a person-centred approach, provide them with quality opportunities, experiences and social education, with the aim of contributing to their development and quality of life.

Applicants must possess:

  • A recognised professional qualification to Diploma level.
  • A minimum of two years experience in a residential setting or combined experience working with young people with challenging behaviour in a community setting or similar.

Starting Salary €37,000

The post holder will be required to work directly with young people and their family / carers in a community based context ensuring the highest quality of best practice. This role will also require administrative duties, as well as responsibilities pertaining to the progression, practice and implementation of service plan objectives for young people and their family /carers.

Applicants must possess:

  • A recognised professional qualification to Degree Level (Preferably in Youth & Community Work, Social Work or Social Care)
  • A minimum of one year’s post qualifying experience of working with young people and their family / carers.
  • A full, clean driving license with access to a car and relevant business insurance indemnity.

Starting salary €26,500 plus relevant additional payments.

Similar to the Residential Support Worker, the post holder will be required to work within a residential setting and provide young people with quality opportunities, experiences and social education, with the aim of contributing to their development and quality of life.

The Graduate post would suit a candidate with a current relevant qualification but who does not hold the full two years’ experience required for a Residential Support Worker post. The successful post holder will benefit from internal training by our fully qualified trainers in all mandatory fields as appropriate.
